Recology Del Norte offers commercial paper, cardboard and glass recycling service to businesses. The charge for recycling collection normally costs a minimum of 25% less than ordering additional garbage containers. On request, Recology Del Norte can perform a waste analysis to help determine what materials can be diverted from your business waste stream. They will even help you find disposal options for hazardous waste such as computer monitors & televisions, fluorescent tubes, cell phones, batteries and paint.

The monthly rate for collection more than once per week equals the monthly rate for once per week collection plus 68% of the monthly charge times the additional number of collections per week. Overdue surcharge on temporary bins add 25% of rate for each week overdue. Handling charge for bulky items placed in bins is $2.00 plus cost of disposal for each item. Relocation of temporary bins within 5 miles surcharge add 25% of the rate for the first pickup. Unscheduled collection surcharge add 10% of the rate for the first pickup. Pass-through charges will be assessed at the rates on Schedule B: Disposal rates and supported by an appropriate weight receipt. Collection of separated recyclable material in bins or compactors will not exceed 75% of the cost for collecting an equivalent amount of waste. Medical waste surcharge is an additional 200% of collection rate. For temporary bins, customers may be charged an additional pass-through charge for disposal fees in excess of 4.25 tons for a 20-yard bin, in excess of 5.50 tons for a 30-yard bin or in excess of 6.75 tons for a 40-yard bin. Collection rates per collection for refuse compactors not listed are proportionally based on the rate for the compactor of the next largest volume.
